Why I became the Program Director: I became the director because I truly believe in the work we do and the difference you can make in the lives of young children and their families. I love being able to support our team while also helping families feel encouraged, supported, and connected to resources. Being part of a program that focuses on children and families during such an important time in their lives is very meaningful to me. 

My favorite part of the program:  The families and the relationships we build with them. I love seeing our home visitors and doulas connect with families, build trust, and celebrate those little milestones along the way. Watching a child grow and develop and knowing our team played a small part in supporting that family is incredibly rewarding. 

A fun fact about me: I'm a mom of six kids! 2 daughters and 4 sons. I also have 2 son in laws. Life is always busy, but I love spending time with my family and watching my family grow. They definitely keep my husband and I busy.

Something I want families to know: We are here for you - not to judge you, but to support you! Every family is different, and there is no perfect way to parent. Our goal is to meet families where they are, listen to what they need, celebrate their strengths, and help them feel confident in their parenting journey. You never have to feel like you are doing this alone.

Home Visitor/Outreach Coordinator

Why I became a home visitor: To support families through early childhood development by connecting them to resources needed to thrive.

My favorite part of a home visit:  Seeing a family interact with their child and watching how that moment empowers the family and encourages more positive interactions between the family and child which then deepens their bond.

A fun fact about me: I love to sing!

Something I want families to know: You're never going through the parenting journey alone.

Home Visitor/Doula

Why I became a home visitor: I wanted to make a difference in not just childrens' lives but their whole family as well.  I saw the things that can go wrong if families don't have the support they need, and wanted to help anyway I could.

My favorite part of a home visit: Seeing the child's personality shine when they are playing with their family.  Celebrating all of lifes little moments and accomplishments with the families. 

A fun fact about me: My first time flying on a plane was over 16 hours long.

Something I want families to know: We are here to support not only their children, but them as well. We will never judge you and want you to be your true self, you don't have to hide who you are,.

Lead Home Visitor

Why I became a home visitor: I enjoy working with children, watching them grow and learn. 

What I love about working with families: I love seeing the families reach their goals and how exciting it is for the parents when their child accomplishes something they have been working on. 

My favorite part of a home visit: Watching the family succeed together. 

A fun fact about me: I love being outside, camping, and riding side by sides with my family.

Parent Educator/Home Visitor

Why I became a home visitor: I became a home visitor because I love working with families and helping them be their child’s first and most important teacher!  

What I love about working with families: I love seeing the child’s excitement when I arrive and the parent’s excitement when their child develops a new skill.  

My favorite part of a home visit: Giving the family a new book each month 

A fun fact about me:  I’m working on my bucket list of visiting all 50 states. I only have 10 more to go!  

Something I want families to know: Children learn every day through play and reading to your child consistently is one of the easiest and most beneficial ways to help your child be successful in school!

Community Doula

Why I became a doula: I love babies and I know how valuable support was when I had my babies. I want to give that to other moms.  

My favorite part of a doula visit or birth: When mom becomes less afraid and apprehensive about birth after learning more of what to expect.

A fun fact about me: Everywhere I travel I somehow wind up meeting or being near a celebrity.

Something I want families to know: I am only a text away after they are finished with the doula program. I'll always love them and their babies.
